Leadership Development
EBDS (subsidiary of Highmark Health): We worked with the CEO to develop their leadership team as these leaders were new to their roles. This required designing and developing curriculum for existing managers while providing executive coaching to several managers who had competency gaps. The leadership training consisted of a series of programs that were customized and facilitated. The customized training programs included: “The Manager as Leader”; “Effective Communications with Teams”; “Creating and Maintaining Teamwork in an Ever Changing Workplace”; “Managing Performance for Results”; “The Leader’s Role in Managing Stress”; “Diversity/Respect for Others”; and “Effective Interviewing to Hire the Right Person”.

Workplace Investigations
U.S. Department of Energy / NETL: TBP's consultants have over 25 years of conducting investigations. For the federal government, TBP conducted an EEO investigation for the DOE/NETL operation in Pittsburgh, PA involving a complaint of discrimination. As a certified EEOC Investigator, Ms. Bradly conducted the investigation. This involved conducting seven interviews of employees in the Pittsburgh and Morgantown, WV offices.

Organizational Development
Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth & Families: We conducted Focus Groups with Caseworkers & Supervisors to develop best practices in various Allegheny County CYF sites that were incorporated into a countywide program. We developed and facilitated multiple customized programs on “Managing Effective Caseload Management”. We worked with the Training Director and Managers of Allegheny County CYF to obtain data from the focus groups to provide best practices. These best practices were incorporated into a county-wide training program for caseworkers.

Job Search/Job Training
Allegheny County Housing Authority (ACHA): ACHA management wanted to increase resident’s self-sufficiency by finding them jobs. We worked with the community residents and marketed our job search/job training program. By providing Microsoft WORD/EXCEL training, we taught our participants typing skills and taught them how to develop effective resumes. Our efforts resulted in 87% of the participants obtaining new employment opportunities that further enhanced their self-sufficiency status.

Outplacement and Career Transition Services
AT&T (via) Alliance Learning Center: TBP developed and conducted a series of group career transition counseling and training sessions for 700 employees in various states (i.e. PA, OH, WV, MI). TBP worked with individuals one-onone and in group settings to help them with various career transition elements. Our customized training program “Jobs 101” was built on helping individuals find federal government and private sector jobs. The coursework including career exploration, writing effective resumes, how to use the internet and social media to find jobs applications and to make professional connections and interviewing techniques were explained. Each individual was taught how to prepare their personal career marketing plan based on their work experience and each individual went through a mock interview.

Lois A. Bradley, Founder and President, has over 30 years of leadership experience implementing and managing human resource and organizational transformation of public and private sector clients. Her accomplishments range from establishing the executive teams for high profile start-ups, to managing and integrating HR for 22,000+ employees of a heath care system. Ms. Bradley holds a B.S. in the Management of Human Resources from Roberts Wesleyan College, and has attended the MBA Executive Development Program at the University of Rochester, William E. Simon School. She is the author of Great Leaders Are Remembered: 52 Weeks of Leadership Lessons.

James Dittmar, Ph.D., Senior Human Resource Consultant, with 30+ years of organizational change experience that included executive coaching, training and development in higher education and government. As Founder and senior faculty member of the Master’s of Science Organizational Leadership (MSOL) Program at Geneva College, Dr. Dittmar built the program. He is a Ph.D. graduate of the University of Pittsburgh majoring in social and comparative analysis.

Michele Pastrick, SPHR; SHRM-SCP, Senior Human Resource Consultant, brings 40+ years of human resource
experience. As a certified facilitator with AchieveGlobal, she has presented many leadership and change management programs. Michele holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from St. Francis University.

Kelly Irvine, Human Resource Consultant/Recruiter, brings 15 years of human resource experience. She has recruited a variety of administrative, software/robotic engineering, engineering, manufacturing and healthcare positions. She partners with senior executives to align strategic business goals with organizational and talent management. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Westminster College and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from St. Francis University.
