Human Resources Director (Onsite)
Location: Bradford, PA
Our client is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Director to join it’s executive team. Allegheny Bradford Corporation is a 62 year-old stainless steel custom fabrication company specializing in servicing the biotechnology, food, and beverage industries across the world. As part of the executive team, this role is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant HR policies, procedure, best practices and leading the HR function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with executive leadership team to define the organization’s short and long terms goals related to talent
management. Understand the business needs and translate those needs into HR services. -
Develop HR strategy to advance and support implementation of the company’s business model. Lead the
development, streamlining, and scaling of the HR infrastructure to best fit the organization’s needs. Review and
enhance HR systems, initiatives to support talent acquisition and retention. -
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across a four plant operation within 1 mile of each other,
including wage and hour laws for both exempt and non-exempt employees. -
Identify key performance indicators for HR and the company’s employees that include developing or revising job
descriptions, overseeing the development of a matrix for production employees and associated performance targets. -
Develop a recruitment strategy to achieve corporate objectives. Monitor the labor market and provide feedback on
competitiveness of corporate offerings in the labor market. Recruit and maintain applicant pool, pre-screen,
interview, and background check applicants. Arrange for pre-employment physicals and drug screening and perform
new employee orientation. -
Ensure the company’s compensation structure is competitive with market and the region. Research, develop, and
implement competitive compensation, benefits, and policies. -
Own the comprehensive performance management program/process, including setting performance standards,
conducting evaluations, and providing feedback to enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness. -
Work collaboratively with Lean and Quality initiatives to ensure success of continuous improvement. Work with
Health & Safety to ensure successful health & safety programs. According to established guidelines maintain, submit
and file such items as the OSHA 300, annual workplace safety committee renewal application and UC forms. -
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-
related issues. -
Oversee and own the management and optimization of HRIS offerings, including company payroll processes,
ensuring data accuracy, security, and efficient workflow integration to support HR operations and strategic decision-
making. -
Lead the HR team including payroll operations. Develop, implement, and manage the departmental budget.
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
10+ years of HR management experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of HR leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree in business required. SHRM certification. Proven leadership in managing HR operations for the company. Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Knowledge and experience with varied HRIS (Dynamics AX). Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
