
Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Carrolltown, PA
Starfire Corporation is a growing family owned and operated pyrotechnics & entertainment production company. We have an open full-time position for an Inventory Manager at our headquarters in Carrolltown in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day inventory of the fireworks production plant. Success in this position will be measured primarily in terms of the incumbent’s ability to ensure the safe and efficient tracking, movement and packing of fireworks inventory from the manufacturing plant to transportation and ultimately to display shows throughout the United States. This role is critical to the success of the overall organization and the quality of the displays provided to our clients. Some travel to other locations will be required (up to 15%).
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages the receipt, logging, tracking, and packing of all fireworks.

Counts and logs all new inventory shipments and tracks and logs product returned after each show.

Always understand the condition of the inventory and responds to ATF audit requests.

Keeps senior leaders informed and performs appropriate follow-up for the role.

Conducts inventory prior to the season and at the conclusion.

Plans to pull, label, and pack all fireworks for each show so shipment can occur when needed.

Uses cost sheets, knowledge of fireworks and financial impact to pull inventory and pack efficiently.

Manages the cleaning and weight restrictions of all containers/magazines according to the ATF and DOT to ensure a safe environment.
Skills and Education Requirements:

Inventory experience (minimum 3-5 years)

Environmental, Health and Safety experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work well with a wide range of external customers and internal staff.

Understanding of production and inventory planning / execution

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must be able to pass federal government background check to handle explosives.

Ability to drive daily execution.
