Job Title: Inventory Manager

The Bradley Partnerships is assisting an established, private company in the fireworks manufacturing & display production business in finding an Inventory Manager to join the team. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role at Starfire Corporation is responsible for managing the day-to-day inventory of the Pennsylvania fireworks manufacturing plant. Success in this position will be measured in terms of the incumbent’s ability to ensure the safe and efficient tracking, movement and packing of fireworks inventory from the manufacturing plant to transportation, and ultimately to display shows throughout the United States. This role is critical to the success of the overall organization and the quality of the displays provided to our clients. Some seasonal travel to other locations will be required (up to 15%).

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the receipt, logging, tracking, and packing of all fireworks.

  • Counts and logs all new inventory shipments and tracks and logs product returned after each show.

  • Oversees the condition of the inventory and responds to ATF audit requests.

  • Advises senior leaders of inventory and performs appropriate follow up for the role.

  • Conducts inventory prior to the season and at the conclusion.

  • Plans to pull, label and pack all fireworks for each show so shipment can occur when needed.

  • Uses cost sheets, knowledge of fireworks and financial impact to pull inventory and pack efficiently.

  • Manages full time, and temporary staff to assist in all inventories and packing processes.

  • Manages the cleaning and weight restrictions of all containers/magazines according to the ATF and DOT to ensure a safe environment.

 

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • Inventory management experience and supervisory experience (minimum 3-5 years)

  • Environmental, Health and Safety management

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a wide range of external customers and internal staff.

  • Understanding of production and inventory planning / execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Must be able to pass federal government background check to handle explosives

  • Demonstrated team building skills

  • Ability to drive daily execution

Base Salary $60K - $65K

 

Background Check and Clearances are required. The finalist for this position will be required to undergo a full background check and clearances. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon satisfactory results.
