Lynda Wilkes is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with over 35 years of experience leading HR functions for organizations from a variety of industries including broadcasting, healthcare, manufacturing, higher-education, advertising, banking and more. Lynda’s broad HR experience includes specializations in M&A including HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration, HR infrastructure design and development, HR automation, total rewards/benefit design, leadership development and people analytics.
Lynda most recently served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for NEP Group, Inc., a global broadcasting services provider with over 4000 employees in 25+ countries. There she led the successful HR integration of 27 business acquisitions throughout the US, UK/Europe and Asia. Prior to joining NEP, Lynda was the Vice President of HR Services at Education Management Corporation where she led significant HR infrastructure development initiatives in the creation of an automated, centralized HR shared-service operation to support the organization’s 25,000 employees. Prior, Lynda served in senior HR leadership roles at Philips Respironics, SCA Packaging, ADVO/Vilassis, AHERF/Allegheny General Hospital and Dollar Bank.
Lynda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Consumer Services from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources/ Industrial Relations from St. Francis College. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Past President of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association where she served on the Board of Directors for many years. Lynda received a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
Additionally, Lynda owns and operates a small home-based business, works part-time for American Greetings and volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Animal Friends and the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management.
